The focus is on how she keeps getting up, never on how she gets knocked down. I love that aspect of it so much. I also like the way that, in Rising (the only one I've read so far!), Steph, Babs and Dick (and possibly Damian too, I don't know enough about him to judge) are in similar positions in that they've all ended up in situations that aren't quite where they want to be, or they're not quite the people they want to be, or feel they should be, but they're all trying their best and muddling on regardless, and it's all basically working out ok. ♥
