Soooo I could say lots here, I think, except we've already talked about all of these things lots of times! I will say, OH LOOK, CAPSLOCK *watches it two more times*
I really wish I was supposed to see that as Peter fundamentally not understanding her, even though he loves her, and that being tragic.
RIGHT? I was looking at a gif on Tumblr the other day (oh Tumblr) of the scene when Olivia first acknowledges to Walter and Peter that she may have been treated with cortexiphan. And Peter's *immediate* response is "Olivia was never treated with cortexiphan," like he *knows* and how could he know, and that made me remember the time Olivia bonded with the other cortexikid and Peter was like, "you're nothing like him," and Olivia's face was like, "I disagree." And that would be SUCH A GOOD STORY, WHY DON'T THEY TELL IT TO ME. That story makes me interested in Peter too, and I really, really wish they were telling it. But I agree, I don't think they are, but it's a fairly persistent theme that makes me think they are having him say things like that on purpose. And I'm worried that it's supposed to be, like, him believing that she can't be "not like other people" or whatever is a positive thing, like he sees her best self or some bullshit, but idk. Maybe those are just some lines they didn't put too much thought into.
And it's really fucking sad that Prime Suspect is already canceled, but reading what you say about Olivia (<3 always) I think you would like Jane Timoney quite a lot. Well, except there's no space, so take that with a grain of salt. She's like Olivia Dunham with EVEN LESS objectification EVEN MORE disregard for being likeable and 15 or so more years and no special superhero powers. Use that to evaluate!
Yay Wales!
in fairness we were all very surprise
That is shockingly adorable.
And now I will take five things! :D Though I may just respond here, we shall see.
