Yeah me too - I didn't know that the reviews were lukewarm - that's a shame. I like that if they're not going to have the amazing JH Williams III art, they are deciding to mix it up in another way with the narrative structure?

But I like Amy Reeder's art a lot. Her facial expressions are really brilliant - she has great skill at drawing the err, "acting". I do think that her Batwoman sections were - in one of two places - marginally less polished, but I want to see how she develops confidence as her run continues.

I do worry that people will just miss the JHWIII art so much the sales will drop unfairly - it's still a really good book. We'll see.
