I loved this so much! It was a total page-turner, too--I stayed up past my bedtime just so I could see where it was going to end up. Some of it was genuinely moving (like Tigh when he's dying), some of it was philosophical and made me think, and some of it was just hilarious, like the whole scene where Kara wakes up on top of the hybrid. Bwahaha. Also, the scene with Baltar before they take him away to be, um, hybridized. His interactions with Six there are just perfect.
I loved how you kept the whole thing together while having so many characters. I kept going: oh, Helo! and yay, Dee! and oh, Caprica. Basically, I've read very little fic for BSG, and I loved how I got these characters through this fic, if that makes sense. Like, I really connected with them.
Maybe I'm dense, but I didn't get what Laura really is. If Daniel is the last of the five, what is she? I mean, she was resurrected, so she'd have to be a cylon, or half-cylon...do you mean that the blood she got while being healed from cancer was enough to make her into a half-cylon?
