Fringe is one of the many shows of squandered potential hogging up space on my DVR. I love Joshua Jackson and he has absolutely nothing to do on this show. And yes, that twist still doesn't give him a purpose. I find Anna Torv as the lead to be incredibly uncharismatic. Walter is entertaining and I enjoy Astrid. I don't ship anyone on this show but if I did maybe it'd be Peter and Astrid. I don't think Peter and Olivia have any chemistry at all. The mystery/alien/wackadoo of the week format is not my favorite. I would prefer more unfolding of long-running arcs. Even the finale which was arguably better than any of their other episodes this year had trouble hodling my interest. I attempted to watch it three times before I could see it all the way through. Sigh.
