HEROES!!!
Okay, so, firstly, general public apologies for my attrociousness re: replying to previous entries and comments, etc. It's been a nuts two weeks with housing emergencies and near-misses with bailiffs who weren't even supposed to be coming to see us, and craziness at work (today I got to watch the emergency mental health service collapse before my very eyes! I feel so lucky!) and extremely stressed friends/boyfriends and such. Which I shalln't go into in detail on account of it's largely on the upswing now and talking about it here would do nothing but miserify me all over again. But thus is my lousy excuses for minimising my internet presence. That and desperately trying to force Atton from KOTOR II to be a Jedi.
Especially since we have a very important and depressing in its own right topic for today's discussion:
OH MY GOD, THEY KILLED DL! YOU BASTARDS!
Not even more old Star Trek actors makes up for this, bitches. Though Nichelle Nicholls hair was like something from another planet. PLANET AWESOME.
Also, Caitlyn totally has a twisted relationship with violent men.
Also, West is still creepy, though the flying scene was kind of sweet despite being totally cheesy.
Also, Hiro didn't make me as squeeful as usual. Why did he stay? It was kind of...oddly boring a decision, perhaps because I usually love triangles or the suggestion thereof.
Niki you are just as stupidly gullible as always.
Mohinder and Matt, you're so adorably gay! I think if I had to be raised by any TV parents, I'd pick them. Or maybe John and Aeryn from Farscape. But only those two if I had some sort of death- or insanity-wish.
Maya & Alejandro, I was willing to suspend disbelief and buy into your story. But it's getting more than slightly same-old same-old now. Do something OTHER than have your dangerous journey separate you and therefore killing/barely saving bunches of people. Pfft.
Thus concludes my cliff-notes version of events. Hopefully I'll get to replying to people soon...ish.

Wow, that'd be cool. And I suppose it'd explain his ability to survive the fall, if he just phased through the ground (if his power works that way) as well as his ability to get into Angela Petrelli's locked interview room and then escape without being noticed.
You're so smart!
(And also about Niki, who I really want to feel sympathy for, but for real, I'm starting to think Micah will be better off with Uhura, even though I know NOTHING about that character. Which says something. *headdesk*)

It's like how else are we supposed to possibly interpret this set up? Which perhaps is why it doesn't bug you like most slash does? Because there's a context in which is seems plausible, nay, likely?
Though I think we're probably supposed to just see them as friends of convenience - perhaps becoming good buddies - while platonically co-parenting their adopted daughter.
I'd so love it if the show went there, though, and had a romance between them because...well...it's be really unexpected, and in this instance, IT WRITES ITSELF!
If only Matt hadn't just put their little girl in a coma. OH WAIT. That leads to angst. WHICH TOTALLY LEADS TO MORE GAYNESS. Angst=emo=sexual tension.
I think they have become my Heroes OTP.

I'm all about the context so this is totally acceptable to me (see icon *grin*). Similarly, I couldn't argue the whole Batman & Robin thing either.
Matt cradled Molly in his arms while Mohinder wandered into the kitchen to make something for dinner....
