BSG: I think they might need a chart to keep track of it... (Cylon Family Tree.)
Real thoughts and updates and such forthcoming. I liked this episode and decided to cheer myself up by making THIS:
A Cylon Family Tree, because I thought perhaps they might need a chart to keep track of it all. Cut-tag because it's a big image and also because it has...implied spoilers from Someone to Watch Over Me.
Notes:
1. Yeah, I know, Tory and Tyrol were never actually married, but it gave the thing a nice symmetry and they were a couple and all. It looks prettier, and way more incestuous this way.
2. No, I don't particularly buy into the idea that Sam somehow downloaded into Liam/Liam somehow downloaded into Sam so almost didn't include that link, but, I figured, HEY, MOAR LINES. Plus if it was true and then Sam Anders managed to be both Caprica Six's father and son, that would be lolarious.
3. Yes I know that Sam and Kara are married in addition to having frakked, but that would have been really hard to show on the tree with just an "=". Hence the red line and "=" compromise.
4. Yes. This entire family tree is basically an excuse to prove that Ellen Tigh is Laura's great-grandmother. Deal with it.
And now none of you have any excuse to be confused about who is related to whom.

And yes, they are different Eights. But I had little space on the chart and technically that would mean that the Final Five had 8 bajillion kids instead of just 8, so I decided to go...symbolic and conflate all the multiple copies with each other.
I was tempted to add an "Killed!" line too but I thought...that would just get insane. (Tigh&Ellen, Ellen&Liam, Six&Three, Kara&Leoben, Three&Cavil, Helo&Eight, Six&Six, Six&ENTIRE CYLON RACE...I'm sure I'm missing some...)
