Maybe she doesn't even have parents. She could be something else entirely, like something closer to a Cylon raider. I think it would be cool if Kara was designed to lead them to Earth. I think it would explain her dead body and why Leoben backed away. They don't know what she is either.
I hope Ellen didn't know she was a Cylon when she was alive. It irks me if she knew.
Also, I kinda don't like Adama. At all. He's a douchebag.
