Oh, trust me, I read Sam/Gene as slashy (hello, icon). It's very difficult to watch LOM without shipping them. I just don't see that particular scene as emblematic of their slashy sexy aggressive fighting. It seems to me there were better scenes to choose from, but that's just my personal preference.
