i would certainly hope that olivia distances herself from peter. i would certainly do that! also, if it turns out that peter really hasn't clued into the fact that this isn't olivia, and the reason for this cluelesness is due to the fact that olivia has changed into a person he likes better, then that says a whole lot about who peter is. like you said, perhaps peter and olivia are incompatible. i'm still sort of hoping peter is at least suspicious because he really should know better than to happily go along with a suddenly changed olivia.
