I just read Stumptown which has a female protagonist. It's a crime type thing. Also Scarlet if you want a seriously pissed off woman taking on the corrupt police force. Oh, and the Angel and Faith series is still awesome. I haven't tried Rachel Rising but it's getting a lot of positive chatter so that's another potential candidate.
Yeah that does sound tough to get around. Also I'm thinking the armor upgrades become jarring, especially if you don't edit all that linearly. I tried capturing a couple of images on my iPhone but no doubt those turned out shit. *wants her epic damn icon already*
