Hey guys, just a quick note to say, wow, I didn't mean to leave it so long before posting here again. I've just been, well to be honest, stuff's been a little depressing lately. My holiday was good - useful, I think? For K and for me. But now I'm back and stuff. Hopefully Christmas will improve the situation, and I'll reconcile my desperation to find a new job with my halfhearted attempts to find one because jobhunting is something that makes me feel awful and uncomfortable. I totally applied for at least one thing, though! Now I only have to apply for like, 99 more to statistically have a chance to find something...

But anyway, what I want to say is I've been awful at keeping in touch with everyone, and I hate that, so I'm going to try to be better about that and about posting here. There's a bunch of stuff I actually want to say for once (OUAT finale, Welsh language census disaster, Star Wars, my Nexus 7, actually reading stuff again, a vid I have sitting 85% done on my harddrive, just...gah, so much I could be talking about, why am I so apathetic?)

So yes. I'm not dead, I'm sorry I've been quiet. ♥

I've finally got myself a Mac as well. Tentatively making clips, so if I do manage to go *sideeyes work schedule* I'll get to come with some actual vidding experience under the belt. The thought of fangirls, vidshows, and panels make me go \o/

Come to Dreamwiiiiiidth. Seriously. I am not any sort of ambassador for it and used to find it annoying when people were, but it's a fair bit more active these days. You kinda have to invest the effort to find new people, like starting a journal over, which is not ideal, but I'm hoping it stays viable as a hangout. Because ugh Tumblr. :/

I have Big Plans to VID ALL WEEKEND (because festivids deadline, OMGGGG WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA, ugh, I haven't done a thing since that bit I sent you . . .aaaages ago, and with Christmas the deadline is so soon). So I will just be hanging around. But if you're busy, it's fine! Some other time. I have nothing interesting happening anyway, except freaking about vidding deadlines.

ahaha considering I decided to start vidding oh, a couple of years ago, a premiere vid isn't likely to be on my timeline. I'm still too chicken shit to start the actual vidding process, since all my ideas are stupidly big or just kinda vague. I did have one episodic idea that I planned to start with, but of course the disc wouldn't rip :/

If I keep fumbling with this movie vid, could be I'll try Luther instead, since the source isn't quite as vast and I've got a couple of fairly complete ideas to tackle.
