Vidukon: Which Vid Should I Submit?!

Hey dudes!

So the deadline for Premieres and Vidders' Choice show uploads for Vidukon is this Sunday and I need to get my stuff together for it. My premiere is finished, no worries there, but I've yet to settle on a Vidders'Choice option because I'm genuinely just totally torn.

I'd make a poll, but I don't (yet) have a paid DW and therefore couldn't crosspost, so I apologise, no convenience for any of you. But please, comment below!

The main options I'm considering:

- Quantum Theory - Once Upon A Time vid, probably a good choice in general, it's a vid I like and all, except I'm slightly astray with the show right now so I have slightly mixed feelings about it. On the other hand it's one of my better more recent vids, I think, and I love the song choice.

- Matches to Paper Dolls - The Great Queen Seondeok - GAH EPIC KOREAN TV SHOW OF MY HEART. Problem is I'm not really sure it plays that well to people who've not seen the show. At least, like, in terms of the way vids sometimes "play" differently to live audiences than alone on your TV screen. Different expectations, etc. I do love the show unreasonably though.

- Marchin On - Young Justice (DC Superheroes) - It's big, flashy, shiny and superheroey! I actually quite like it as a vid and it might play well on a big screen, but idk, I'm also not totally sure how I feel about picking it essentially because I couldn't stick on something else.

So, yeah...

Also if there's a DIFFERENT vid any of you think I should pick, mention it! I also considered Set My World Into Motion (River Song) and I Need A Hero (Wonder Woman), briefly. But I can't pick Hands Away cus chaila already submitted that like a boss. ;)

I love love love Quantum Theory. (I only saw it a few weeks ago and sometimes I have hang ups about commenting on vids that arent brand new, hence the silence), so I vote for it! But I haven't watched the others and I'm sure they're also wonderful. Sorry, not hardly helpful.

Yay! :D And don't worry, err, either about not replying or about replying to older vids (it's always nice to receive comments on older vids! But don't take that as a reproachment!) And thanks! I'm really glad you liked it. Plus that it helpful. I'm not trying to be scientific about this, just...I'm genuinely torn and don't know which way to go, so I figured this would be vaguely more useful than coinflipping which was the other option. ;)

I kind of like the idea of Quantum Theory, just because I think it strikes a good balance between shiny and pretty and for a somewhat popular show and thinky meta? It's also very YOU, if that makes sense.

My backup vote is Set My World Into Motion, because RIVER SONG: SUPERHERO is totally the subtext, and it's gorgeous and would play well anywhere!

Yeah, I was VERY tempted by RIVER SONG: SUPERHERO, but I sort of also figured that it's my most popular vid and I think a lot of people at the con will already have seen it? Which isn't necessarily a strike against it since they might still enjoy it! But it makes me a bit hesitant?

I think that you're right, given other responses, Quantum Theory is probably the best option, the only reason I'm slightly iffy is my later-season feelings of vague ambivalence, but that doesn't really have anything to do with this vid? I will consider!

I'd be thrilled by any of your vids, but personal bias does say that I would LOVE to see Set My World Into Motion on a big screen. I also adore Quantum Theory.

Awww, thank you. I'd kind of like to see that one on the big screen too, but I do have another River vid in another show, so I think I'm learning towards Quantum Theory. Unless I cave at the last minute. Because, you know. River.
