Aww, thank you! :D I do think it does some things better than the quintet so it's really cool to hear you like it more and also that it works visually for you. Sorry this is such a late reply. I thought dreamwidth had fixed its notification problem, but no, I'm still getting them super erratically.
I think I like the thirds more towards the end, I think it's just the opening where I'm less sure. But the opening I redid like...I don't know, a few times. So now I think I'm just at the point where I'm not very objective about it! But I'm basically happy with how it turned out, which is what matters.
I don't mind passing on the sheet music at all if you'd like it! With no expectations of every hearing you play it (though obviously that'd be lovely if it happens).
Might as well put that publicly on the offchance anyone else wants it.
The squiggly bits, if you're referring to the bits I think you're referring to, basically mean, instead of playing all the notes of this chord at once, "roll" them starting from the lowest note. Like, play them really quickly in sequence. I'm pretty sure it's just called an arpeggio (even though that also means a type of scale?)
