Back!

Hi all!

Yeah...I got back a while ago but haven't posted yet. I think because I was waiting until I felt ready to do a big, long write-up but the mood just hasn't struck. Honestly I think I'm crashing from the high of the holiday and am feeling mildly depressed about the whole being back in this freezing cold country and not having free spending money.

Or perhaps I'm suffering from withdrawal because they put extra oxygen in the air in the casinos... ;)

Anyway, the point is I'm now married (hoorah!) and had a good time and one day Vegas will burn down and we'll all compare it to Rome. :)

Hopefully I'll be back soonish with some fannish geeky posting and possibly a flocked post with wedding pictures. Because I'm slightly paranoid about pictures on the net but hey...we'll see. If my Ma ever gets around to sending me the pictures, that is.

Hopefully I'll be a bit more awake/active on LJ again now!

And yes. Much like Rome. Crazy decadence in the middle of a slum which will one day burn to the ground. Incredible but...well...Rome. And I assume there are more Elvii. To be brutally honest, I only saw two. And they were in the same place at the same time. Though I suppose that's already two more than Rome.

At least I hope there weren't Elvii in Rome. I'm not sure my fragile mind could cope with that revelation...

Also Hooray for Baby Delirium Icons! (Though one wonders how she could ever have been a baby since surely that would have been Baby Delight. Though Baby Delight is no one near as neon-tastically adorkable...) And...ugh. I have no sandman icons. I shall use an icon from another comic book. The character in it is weeping for my lack of Sandman icons.

See, Kev would have gambled away his wedding ring, but years ago, after a certain late-night TV show which involved betting on B-Movie monster fights, I expressly forbade Kev from ever gambling away his wedding ring on an Electric Bat. Then as an afterthought forbade him from gambling it away on anything. So sadly, it was not an option for him.

As for me. Well...he only thinks this is the ring I got married with... *looks nervously at the peeling 'metal'*
