To be honest, I'm just so unbothered by the whole "incest" thing I'm probably abnormal. I have a totally "pick-and-choose," policy. So like, Ellen and Cavil is awesomely frakked up but that's largely because of the way they choose to identify each other and the reasons behind why Cavil did what he did.
The other FF/Non-FF Cylons doesn't bother me because...they didn't know. And it's Greek Godly.
I don't want to prioritise a biological view of family because family means so much more than that, and that's always been especially true in the text of this show. If Ellen says that the eight models are her children, then fine. They are. That's her choice/their choice. But there's also something to be said for the fact that they're not actually biologically related.
