I think that what bugs me is the fact that the entire discussion on technology was OH NOES which is why I didn't hate the dancing robots entirely because they're really not that threatening and to me are an expression of our curiosity and innovation, but I concede this was entirely likely not the point of the montage.
What I actually want to do is like...a montage of us and technology. Good and bad. Cus that's what I think I hated most about the finale - the luddite "technology is not the answer," message, echoed even by Cylon about themselves. The simplistic nonsense of it. And the fact that so many people in the wilds of the internet buy this nonsense. Like some common sense stupid aphorism like, "computer games cause gun crime." And then it gets raised up and lauded as deep and daring when actually, no. It's become the cliche that (back when it had Starbuck torturing Leoben and Gina on Pegasus and Tigh ordering suicide bombings) it used to eschew.
And...sorry, now I'm ranting again.
But anyway, yes, I do still end it on the Head People. Kinda. Although I'm making efforts to lessen the smug factor (THANKS, RDM!CAMEO!) and make it a little more oblique. They're there though, and it's NYC.
