Weirdly, for me, while this is intentionally depressing and bleak in many ways, one of the things I did want to do for Caprica was establish that despite being left over and over again, loving stuff is still her default and that...and that there are good and beautiful things in this weird life she has because of that. Even though she knows what's coming?
