Thanks for the response - I'm really glad I came across as rational rather than aggressive. It's certainly interesting to hear that, as someone who does share at least one fandom where these issues are common, you did not feel it applied to you either. That's starting to get to some of my other thoughts that I did not feel entirely comfortable articulating because they are both unformed and also about people for whom I do not speak - but I did wonder whether this was a vid that would even speak to everyone who did enjoy this kind of thing, because I'm not sure that there's a solid reason why they should, seeing as it's both fictional and not indicative of horribulous social attitudes? But equally, it makes me super uncomfortable SO. Behold as I manage to draw no conclusions either about the issue or the vid. ;)
