NaViMaMo Vidlet: A to B [Pushing Daisies]

They keep showing up later and later... ;) This is for
kiki_miserychic!
Because I haven't vidded Pushing Daisies before and because it's been a really long time since I watched it, I decided to wimp out a little and make an episodic. I also figured that would mean it would be easier to make a mini vid rather than a fragment of a bigger vid (which is...sort of what I'm aiming with these with, I think, varying degrees of success). I wasn't quite prepared for how viddable the source would be - I remembered it being bright and beautiful but quite static and still. Though of course, this vid does again demonstrate my predilection for jump cuts (they're so FUN), which work well with slow zooms. Anyway, what I wanted to say is, alas, I think this feels more like a vid fragment than a mini vid, but perhaps that's a compliment to the source which simply wouldn't allow me to rush through it. It's a really interesting song because it has a kind of innocent quality while actually being fairly dark and/or filthy in a lot of its lyrics, and I'm sort of disappointed I didn't get to the chorus, but I think the chorus would have required footage from the rest of the season and for the sake of my sanity and timeliness, I decided to cut it off at the one minute mark.
Title: A to B
Video: Pushing Daisies
Audio: Little Bit // Lykke Li
Summary: A to B, Ned to Chuck, episodic for the pilot.
Direct download available here. 11 megs approx. RightClickSaveAs.

I will index and crosspost all vidlets at the end of November or when I've done all the prompts if I decide to keep going to finish them.

That's incredibly appropriate for the show at times, really interesting song. *curses deleting of Olive icon*
