For
streussal! When I went to see this movie, I was totally surprised when Batman basically got sidelined for the tragedy of Harvey Dent getting caught up in the Joker-Batman conflict. Anyway, this is about the three of them, you know, going insane. Also, I currently have only one prompt left! It looks like I might make it through them all this month! WEIRD.
Title: You Can't Survive on Ice Cream
Video: The Dark Knight [Batman]
Audio: Cheap & Cheerful // The Kills
Summary: The Joker says, it's all right.

I will index and crosspost all vidlets at the end of November or when I've done all the prompts if I decide to keep going to finish them.

I remember when the casting was released for this, and everyone on the planet was all "Heath Ledger?" and I was all "What's the one thing Heath Ledger is known for?" and they were all "Smiling?" and I was all "..." and then we all flipped out. This vid? Pretty much got that in a nutshell. I LOVE IT.
(Random Aside: I've never actually seen "the pencil trick", even though I've seen the movie about a million times, because I always cover my eyes. So I missed the first bit of the vid. But the rest was great.)

Because it's all done suggestively. Like, it's clear what happened, but the frame cuts out seeing any actual gore, you just see the movements suggesting what happened on either side of the actual, err, "trick". But I don't blame you for looking away; I rather viscerally remember wincing and bracing myself for an unpleasant visual experience the first time I saw the movie.
