I feel bad harping on about Peter all the time Don't worry, Peter can handle it. ;-) Besides, he's gotten to be with two Olivias who cared for him and his father(s) adore him. I don't feel that badly for him, honestly.
totally wish this were an actual series of lectures I could attend! Me too! But for now I've got interviews, DVD extras and chatting about LJ. That works too!
Ooh, I have to rewatch the ep for the offices. It worked well because in the moment we were in Olivia's POV and we saw it the way she did as well.
then season two had a first half that wasn't enough about Olivia for my tastes. That was so weird! The main character was kind of sidelined in her own show. I mean I like the Peter-Walter plot but still. I can't learn about Olivia if they don't show her!
And I very much liked the first half of S3 but there was always enough (impending romantic doom, how they'd handle Olivia getting her mind wiped, how she'd rescue herself etc. Last week I had zero expectations of season 3. I was just trying to finish it by Friday evening's next ep. I kinda knew Olivia would save herself (poor alt!Philip), but I had worried about when that would happen. It was confusing too. If alt!Olivia is in the real 'verse and real!Olivia is wiped in the real!verse, then real Olivia is gone. Fortunately she came back. It was a turning point for me. I learned who the real deal was and I was so relieved when she stepped out of that tank and was . . . home. Yup. That lab is home for them.
Which bits do you really, really love? (Besides the zeppelins. ;-))
