DUDES. It has been forever since I posted any vids. Because I have been doing silly things like Making Things for Cons which Cannot Be Released Forever (or, in the case of one of them, until just over a week from now omgs). So, possibly I should have spent more time on it, but GLEE A VID ATE MY BRAIN. To one of the most overvidded songs on the planet even! :D

OMG. This is so beautiful. And the way it cycles between the three and Olivia, Olivia. My heart for Olivia. The parallels between what was done to her and what is happening to her now.

Peter was even... I could even feel for Peter here.

The song choice is perfect!

What a beautiful vid. A great choice of music, too. Surreal, tragic, perplexing and complex--everything Fringe brings to its storylines.

Oh, this is GORGEOUS with all the overlays and repeated moments.

I especially loved everything, actually:

-Peter and Elizabeth at the beginning
-the White Tulips
-Olivia's turn at "the dreams in which I'm dying"
-wow, you already have Bell in there
-the combo of Olive and Olivia starting about 2:31, because so perfect.
-just the flow of it. This is another of my favorite overvidded songs, so I'm completely thrilled this one ate your brain!

Amazing. The parallelisms, the sadness... there's an elegance to your vids, and such a wonderful sense of rhythm and symbolism. It's really really lovely. <3

That was very sad and very good. I love young!Peter and tiny three-year-old Olivia. And there were zeppelins!

It's a very vidded song but I still like vids to it anyway. (I also think Breathe Me and Untouchable are very vidded but I love vids to them anyway!)

Second watch: Aww. Your vid is making me far less woobie about Walter than I usually am. The things he did. :-(

Omg it's here already! And it's gorgeous! So I don't know all the context for this, but the repetition of similar imagery and motion pulled me all the way through. The parallel visuals are really excellent. I love how all the moments almost seem to pulse in and out over each other, bleeding different moments and different characters together; that really works to make it murky and dreamy as the past and the present meld together. This also tied Peter, the boy in the wrong universe, to the misplaced children--like Olivia obviously, but even the other cortexiphan kids--in a really interesting way that I think I wish the show would have played up more? I see a lot of that boy in adult Peter with Walter and Elizabeth in this vid, whereas I don't often in the show anymore.

Favorite bits:
- Peter and Elizabeth (?) falling in the ice and Olivia in the water of the tank
- Standing in circles not quite holding hands
- "Happy Birthday," DEAR LORD
- Cortexiphan kids and "no one knew me"
- OLIVIA, ALL THE OLIVIA, especially the bits with her faaaaaace. I just...want to snatch her child self away and cuddle her forever so she doesn't have to go through it all again, and still.

Gorgeous vid. I wasn't going to watch it, since all I've seen so far is the first episode, which doesn't give me much context to work with, but the song sucked me in. Turns out, I don't really need the context to love the vid. I so need to watch me some Fringe. I have the s1 DVDs, I just need to make the time.

I love everything this video chooses to be.

All the parallels between the past and present, the different yet similar situations the characters find themselves in, is gorgeous.

This song is really emotional so of course the video is, but you've done wonderful things matching a lot of the clips with the lyrics both emotionally and visually.

what a lovely, complex vid. I love the connections that you draw, especially young Olivia and the fire, and the "happy birthday" line, and the part with Olivia drawing away from Walter after all the childhood experiments and Walternate closing the window on her. Looking at this, it's amazing that she doesn't resent Walter more.

On the concrit side, I admit I found the lots of crossfades a bit hard on the eye, but that might just be me. :)

oh, AMAZING. Parallels! The show does them so well and I've been waiting for a vidder to make real use of all the great stuff we've got recently. This is just great - it effortlessly captures the real heart of what I love about the show. <3
