beccatoriaMy temporary quasi-hiatus from DW/LJ continues as real life continues to be Kind Of Manic, but I actually have a week off this week because I'm shifting jobs and my start date got pushed back a week. I like...sort of don't know what to do with myself. (Well, actually I do, and that is: catch up on stuff, like all the work I need to do for Vidukon panels and vidding and exchanges and OY!)
But I wanted to drop by and say I LOVE YOU ALL, ALSO THREE THINGS:
1) Vidukon registration (in person) has gone up in price (BUT COME ANYWAY!) but non-attending passes remain at the low price of £16! I don't like shilling for stuff, but I will say, if you buy a non-attending pass, you can submit a vid to our Vidders' Choice show, which is running on Friday night - any vid you like, in any format you like! Please do this! We want an awesome show! Submit your vids! Instructions on the Vidukon Website!
Of course, we're also looking for Premieres, and need lots of those too.
2) The Dresden Codak kickstarter is down to its last three days. It really is a fascinating webseries and if it reaches $500k, there'll be a free extra .pdf book for everyone. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO CHECK IT OUT.
3) HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING? Like, seriously - I've been awful at keeping up with my flist lately, so please, please link me to anything important/interesting I might have missed. (Err, that sounds sort of imposing, like, "do my job for me!" or something; I more just mean, I care about you, flist people, and I'm worried I've missed important things in your lives!)

We can't afford to be much smaller than we are, but we've covered our costs and we've managed to include Friday night programming. What extra nonattending memberships will help us do is more fun stuff like expanding our (currently small) selection of catered refreshments, including stickers in goodie bags, that sort of thing. As to what you get - alas, nothing truly spectacular, but we will send you the premieres DVD! Like I said, though, we're not facing financial difficulties, which is a very relieving position to be in! So you dno't need to worry. ♥
Ugh, GDocs never works with my hotmail account - you'll need to give me access under my gmail address? And I know I DID get an email about AMIF now you mention it - with profuse apologies, I think that happened the week I was SUPER mega busy and I put it on my to-reply list and...I think it got lost there D: But I think chaila just responded to it? So hopefully I'll be able to provide a proper response sooooon!
