I appear to have acquired a reputation...

For the second time in two days, I was either the recipient of a call informing, or the original administrator for patients whose referrals had to be cancelled due to sudden death. Yesterday I had to run across the office to stop someone inputting something because literally twenty minutes after receiving the referall, the referrer called back to let us know the person had dropped dead.

Combined with the fact I once managed to phone up a patient to arrange an appointment during his wake, and I have acquired something of a reputation.

I really hope it's undeserved! But it never seems to happen to anyone else!
