BSG: Someone to Watch Over Me

Right, I'm gonna start with something of an analysis of the half-season so far versus the first half of the season, trying to work out why I'm responding differently; what I like, what I don't, where the difference is because the more I think about it, the more similarities I see.

So, the actual episode!

( It had a PIANO. I was always going to love it. Oh, and also that guy who was playing said piano. )

( He's live at the OPERA HOUSE, people. That better not be a cute in-joke. )

( No one ever lies on my hospital bed and plays me magical music. )

( Ellen Tigh. When I said be hot, I meant HAVE SOMEONE SET FIRE TO YOU. )

( Tigh: I am going to hug you forever, and then we are going to go find Caprica so you can apologise for not taking her out to the bar to get drunk with the rest of your posse. )

( I didn't miss Baltar or Lee. Or Bill, obviously. Or Laura, which hurts me in my soul. )

( Hera 3.0 is the new Vista. I might be stuck with it but I'll always miss XP. )
