Doctor Who was better this week, I very much enjoyed Queen Victoria. She was ace. And very right about that whole banishing thing. It's mollified me a little about the Doctor being an arrogant ass being intentional. He's very judgemental about people making bad choices and causing deaths, but is somewhat nonchalant when *he* does it. Even Rose is getting numb to it. She sees a man horribly eviscerated by a werewolf, but her main reaction to the experience is "wow, we saw a werewolf! Cool!"
I also really liked the mention of the whole Bad Wolf thing and it's something I hope they follow-up on with Rose if there really is still "something of the wolf" in her.
Anyway, the point is, it was ten times cooler than last week. Even if the supposedly werewolf proof room with toxic anti-werewolf walls had a HUGE FREAKIN' WINDOW in the roof that a werewolf could conveniently crash through. And even if it didn't occur to them to simply CLOSE THE DOOR BEHIND THEM as they ran screaming outta there, trapping the werewolf *inside* the room. So yay! Fun episode.
In other new, Kevie is SICK as a DOG. And screaming. And there ain't nothing I can do. Cos it's the antibiotics that are making him sick, but if he doesn't take them, he might get septacemia or something and spend ages in hospital. So instead he gets to stay at home and take drugs that give his stomach muscles epilepsy and a high chance of violent vomiting. Life is fun!
