well, rdm says a few things about anders in the podcast. sort of in passing, but it might still be spoilerish, so look at a podcast recap if you feel like knowing. also, in total wtf!rdm fashion, he honestly said that all the eights share similar traits so you can't totally blame helo for not recognizing boomer. besides, helo really wanted to have sex, you see, and wasn't thinking clearly. erm. sure thing, ron!
