Oh, this is great! I see why it feels like too much earnestness, in a way, but that dovetails so nicely with Eleven's sincerity and Amy's wide-eyed wonder that it works really, really well. It's very affecting and fits well with the emotional arc of the season. I am not generally a fan of the voice-over, but it works particularly well in the beginning here. Definitely a keeper for me!
