After Fringe and Doctor Who impressing me loads last week, this week they were both a bit meh, so instead of talking about them, I made this cus I was bored. It is short, but as it is over two minutes, I declare it a full-blown vid.

Title: 1969
Video: Doctor Who
Audio: Rinzler // Daft Punk [Tron: Legacy Soundtrack]
Summary: A lot more happens in '69 than anyone remembers. [Episodic for The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon]

I've watched a couple of times now and the beginning still makes me jump. Insanely good pacing, and I have no idea how it manages to keep me hanging on in suspense when I've seen these episodes like three times now. Obviously it's just a really awesome vid.

Lots of little flourishes I love too, like the Doctor kicking off the beat at :30, the TARDIS reappearing, and ohhhh the little girl almost smiling at the end.

this vid is actually 8 minutes long

Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me. Pacey, atmospheric instrumentals isn't really what I usually do, so I'm really, really happy that it manages to evoke the jumpy nature of the original episodes. <3

And OMGS that little girl, I really need to know who she is, like, yesterday. Can't wait to see how the show will pull itself out of that dilemma (if she's a Time Lady then whut, but if she's not then whut fake out). /random episode spec. ;)

I promise I didn't program you to do anything too creepy in those extra minutes. :p
