In honor of Christmas, apparently I decided to break my malaise of writers block and commit emo poetry:

Discuss: poems do not need beginnings.

Hack to the middle
watch the cleft
your life left
your life deftly disintegrated
directly divided into the set up
and the execution.

Cut off the beginning
it's splitting again
it's failing.
The beginning is overrated
I am being understated
I am being subtle
I am a goddamned maelstrom.

Skip the beginning,
here's your tale:
disillusion
waits
and so does betrayal.

Skip the beginning
start reading here:
there is nothing
nothing
more eloquent than fear.
