Protect America Act (and previous entry)

Hey guys; previous entry has been locked because in the cold light of morning, feeling less full of despair; it’s all somewhat embarrassing. It was supposed to sound a lot blunter and “this is what’s happened,” and less “PITY ME NAO!”, but I suppose I was upset at the time.
Meanwhile, deep thanks to everyone who did post; you all cheered me up.
The Link above still stands, though, because that’s something that everyone really ought to know about. And for once, it's something that directly affects me even though I live out of the country.
