Windows Vista & all things Computerical!
Aug. 18th, 2007 10:00 pmSo, I've been a bad LJer lately, but in my own defence, my computer broke. I should have known its horrible crisis crash of a few months ago as a portent of doom, but I happily attempted to ignore that fact and soldiered on, installing everything at least one subsequent time.
Then the keyboard stopped working and began refusing to allow me to use certain keys such as "g", "h", "'", "esc" or "backspace" which was...irritating. And the last straw. I know it's a luxury item, but I'd be lost without my computer and, the system was becoming so unstable I was fearing it'd crash every day.
So I upped and bought a new laptop.
( What's happening to my old computer *GUILT!* )
So, yeah. My new puter.
( How much I spent and what I got for it. )
Anyways, that's where I've been lately - fighting with my old computer and setting up my new computer and having my external hard drive which was damned expensive die on me too; with a bunch of stuff I wanted on it! Gah! It's enough to drive one to Buddhism!
I'm trying to get used to Windows Vista.
( Here's how that's been going! )
So, um, yes. There's my review. Cautious thumbs up but preferably with more RAM than I have.
Normal blogging to hopefully resume soon!
