wow. this might be my new favorite!! that was utterly perfect. i especially liked the part about being hemmed in by horizons combined with the shot of the flatline on the monitor and the destruction of the hub as the next big step forward.

I'm so happy you love it! I feared it could not live up to the cracktacularness of the last two, but IT IS A SELF-REFLEXIVE VID ABOUT TELEVISION and therefore it holds a special place in my heart.

there is going to be a slight delay before the finale vid while I attempt to finish my chapter, but IT WILL WIN AT EVERYTHING.

indeed it is! it's perfect :D. when i first read that it was about tv, i couldn't imagine how it would fit the ep, but the voiceover really captures the themes of "the hub."

oho?? have you already picked the prelinger piece you will use?

I'm so glad you like it! This one is totally [livejournal.com profile] projectjulie's baby. All the awesomeness like the flatline horzions and the hub exploding as the next step forward are - as usual! - her genius. I just get to have a great time playing with video footage.

Next episode is about the SUBURBS!

pshaw! I don't know if I adequately express how in awe I am of your beautiful timing of the difficult jump/vision sequences, which totally MAKES the vid.

Ha! See? This is why I don't mind being your minion!

But really - I did have a great time working on those jump sequences. Hence my comments about playing around with the video footage. I just wanted to convey that I was especially impressed this week with your clip choices. A bunch of really great ones like flatline-horizons that probably never would have occured to me. And since it's already my journal, I figured I ought to share the credit :p

Don't worry - I'm plenty pleased with myself for the timing in those jump sequences!
