I'm bored and out of vid ideas that I can actually work on right now (due to waiting for footage, collaboration or inspiration).

Thus I declare NaViMaMo! National (well, you know, for the great state of beccatoria) Vidlet (I'm aiming for about a minute, but it may be half or twice that) Making Month.

Yes, I have started five days late. This is because I only just thought of it. Here are the rules:

Below you will find a list of fandoms I can vid. Comment with a song choice. I will make you a vidlet. If you comment with more than one suggestion, I'll probably just pick one. Unless I'm really bored.

Also, feel free to comment even if we don't really know each other or what have you. PARTY TIEM.

Doctor Song (whut, it's totally a fandom by itself!)

Star Wars (any of it, trust me, if it ever aired on any kind of screen, I'll have it someplace.)

Hm, all my current River songs are deliberately chosen to be slightly obscure Canadiana, though, so I will have to think about what I would choose that you might actually know! :P (either that or finally post that fanmix...)

Ooh, they're all lovely. The second one feels...really expansive, like I think I'd feel I didn't have enough of their tale to tell it right. The third one is gorgeous and I may have to choose it for the tone of the music itself. But at the moment, I think I'm actually most drawn to the first one - it has a straightforward and touching simplicity, plus there are several sections I think I could use and some great lyrics.

I'm glad you like them! There are a couple others I have that are going to be the perfect songs to vid... in like two years, when we have more footage, heh. (Maybe I will have taught myself how to vid by then! Or maybe pigs will fly.)

Whichever one you pick, though, I will be interested to see what sections jump out at you, and if they're the one/s that drew me to the song in the irst place! :)

I have considered it many a time, but if nothing else it is definitely on hold until AFTER I finish the PhD. (otherwise I will probably NOT finish the PhD... *g*)
